In 2015 I received guidance to start creating mandalas in the style of those from Tibet. Since it intimidated me at first, I created “The Gatekeeper” first…and to me it truly feels like The Gatekeeper. Once I created it I felt like I “passed the test” and would be “allowed” to paint them full-size: 48”x48”. “The Gatekeeper” is 9”x12”.

That’s when I received the guidance to create a series of Archangel Mandala paintings. My sense is that there will be 7 of them. I’m only to give the name “Archangel” and the number of the order they were/are created. My team basically said, “no names, please”. They want to be known by their energy and not some preconceived idea of them based on the more traditional Archangel names.

It took my seven years to finish “Archangel 1”. Three of those years I was on hiatus from it. I finished “Archangel 2” in 18 months…so I’m getting faster at this. My plan is to finish them all by the end of 2026. We’ll see.

10/11/24:  I’m now working “Archangel 3” and already prepping for “Archangel 4” which I will start on January 1, 2024…the making of it will be part of the Mandalas of the Day for 2025.
