Four Fire Mandala Oracle cards face up. card 1) abstract background of dark blues and purples, and light blues and purples…with some white here and there. on top in black ink are outlines highlight different shapes found in the background including orbs, mountains, leaves. A large double lined circle fills most of the center image. card 2) indigo background. on top in white ink is an outline of a right hand holding planet earth. wavy lines radiate out from every direction of earth. the lines are made up of many little lines and form spirals at the end of each. card 3) soft abstract background of varying shades of light to medium blues, mint green, and some white. on top in white ink is a flower-like mandala that looks like a hibiscus flower floating under water. radiating from each petal are dots that look like seeds being spread all around. card 4) a textured abstract background of muted colors fo green, yellow, and some off-white. on top in black ink is a detailed mandala design that has a hole in the middle. the rows of “petals” of the mandala look like they could be pieces of wavy kelp. the petals grow in size with each row. wavy lines radiate out of the card edge from the tips of each outer petal.

I set the intention for us to receive deeper insight and guidance that’s in our best interest to receive at this time.

First, here’s what each position means:

  1. What am I seeing?
  2. What am I NOT seeing?
  3. The possible outcome
  4. The action I’m being called to take

I used the “Fire” Mandala Oracle Deck. Here are the cards in today’s spread:

  1. Mystery: embrace the mystery of it All
  2. In Our Hands: it’s in our hands
  3. Aware: be aware in the moment externally and internally
  4. Baby Steps: make progress with baby steps

First I have to point out that the card in the 3rd position (Possible Outcomes: Aware) today, is the exact same one and position from last week. Re-enforcing and emphasizing the value of us being present at all times.

Regardless of what’s going on in our lives individually and collectively, we are encouraged to embrace the idea that all of this is a mystery. One of the “rules of the game” of being here on this planet is that we live in a world with a lot of uncertainty. Rather than see this as a scary negative, we’re best served by embracing “the mystery of it all” as we await its unfolding.

We’re reminded that how we respond to this, what we do in response to all of it, is “in our hands”…we get to choose how we want to feel about it. We get to choose what we want to do about it.

That’s why it’s critical that we remain as present as possible so that we can allow ourselves to consciously assess the situation and consciously choose our next step…baby steps are encouraged. The reality is that we make greater progress with baby steps than no steps or only taking occasional leaps.
