With this two-card spread, from the Earth Mandala Oracle deck, I set the intention to receive more guidance regarding this week’s card: “Focus”, with its message: hocus pocus, where’s your focus?.

We have a tendency to focus too much on our mis-takes to the point that we struggle to move forward for fear of making even more mis-takes. The reality is, mis-takes are opportunities to learn and grow. And in some marvelous instances, our mis-take(s) become amazing discoveries that would otherwise be lost.
So it’s our choice…we can perceive our mis-takes as reflections of how “horrible” we are or we can acknowledge them, amend where possible, and learn how to do it better next time.
For me, personally, when I make a “mis-take” while creating art, it 99% of the times leads me in a better creative direction I hadn’t thought to go…and it ultimately turns out better than had I done it over or tried to fix it.
Btw…there is an un-intended mis-take in the Mis-takes mandala. I left it as is as a gentle reminder.
