Help with Making a Decision
Think about something that you want to know whether it’s in your best interest to do or not do. Or it could be that you need to decide between two options.
Disclaimer: I offer these card pulls for entertainment and spiritual purposes only.
BEFORE looking at the second image:
- take a few deep breaths to get grounded
- think of a decision you want to make (either yes/no or a choice between two options)
- look at the first image with the issue in mind
If you’re asking a Yes-No question, then the left card represents the energy of “Yes”; the right card represents the energy of “No”.
If you’re deciding between two options, determine ahead of time which one is option 1 and which one is option 2.
Here’s the reveal of these two cards:
The “To Do” or “Option 1” card: Spinning Wheels – an object in motion stays in motion unless some force stops it.
The “To Not Do” or “Option 2” card: Alive – What in life makes you come alive
Interpretation:
Yes/Option 1 —Spinning Wheels:
For this one, you’re in the driver’s seat…meaning you decide when to get on or off “the ride”. My sense is that this choice will work for you until it doesn’t any more…the good news is that it wasn’t a waste of time or that you shouldn’t have chosen this option…instead, it’s just that you will get what you need out of this option and then at some point it will be time to move onto the next thing, whatever that is.
Think of it like being at an amusement park where there are many rides. You go on a ride. You decide you like it so you continue to ride it until you decide you want to get off to try another ride. All the while you’re learning what you do and do not want.
No/Option 2 —Alive:
One way to determine if this is a viable option or not is to notice how it makes you feel. Does it make you come alive? Does it make your heart sing? Does it make you feel excited or that it’s more of an adventure for you? Sit with this option as a way to help you answer these questions.
If you went with a yes/no question, then you’re looking at how it makes you feel to NOT do that thing in question. For instance if your question was about whether to take this new job offer or not, then look at how it makes you feel to say “no” to the offer.
If you were deciding between two options, how does Option 2 make you feel versus Option 1?
In either case, it’s about connecting inwardly to find your authentic answer.
I hope you found this helpful.
